SNEAK PEEK INTO TEAM ANGOLA CABLES SAILBOAT

Não me considero uma grande marinheira, na verdade a ideia de estar rodeada de água e sem ver terra provoca-me arrepios. Mas apesar disso, adoro o mar e os seus mil encantos e não consigo viver longe dele. Assim, fiquei extremamente entusiasmada quando fui convidada a espreitar o veleiro do Team Angola Cables e aprender um pouco mais sobre a vida a bordo e a paixão de velejar, pelas mãos do Capitão Tita Correia da Silva e a sua tripulação.

I’m not a much of sailor woman, in fact the idea of being offshore kind of creeps me out. But I do love the sea and it’s spells, and couldn’t live away from it. That’s why I was so excited for being invited into Team Angola Cables Sailboat and learning a bit more about the everyday life on a boat and the passion of sailing by the hands of captain Tita Correia da Silva and his crew.

Primeiro de tudo deixem-se apresentar-vos o “Bille”, um dos dois veleiros que irão representar o Team Angola na Regata Cape to Rio, a mais longa corrida de yatch do hemisfério sul, que terá o seu inicio em Cape Town-Africa do Sul e meta no Rio de Janeiro-Brasil.

First let me introduce you to “Bille”, one of the two sailboats that will be representing team Angola in Cape2Rio Yacht race, the longest continent yacht race in the southern hemisphere that starts in Cape Town-South Africa and ends up in Rio de Janeiro-Brazil.
